BLACK CARNIVAL by Kylian Castells

Black Carnival. 

   Nazaré was never a wave that we were interested in. 

   Over done, over hyped. Too many bright jet skis and fluro wetsuits. Too much carbon fibre at every turn. Mercedes jumping on the wagon, again with too much carbon fibre. Drones. Condemned by a certain big wave charger we know well as being a “glorified mush burger”. All in all a well orchestrated shit show. 

   Until this.  

   Kylian Castell’s  (the mind behind Àbaco) little videoBlack Carnival made us rethink this. Tight angles and a real time voice over highlight how f*cking crazy this joint is, and we’re fully sold. 

   Sorry Nazaré, we take it back. You are are one scary looking bastard.
